Woodrow V. "Woody" Howe, 77, North Manchester, IN died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born November 19, 1935 in Visalia, CA to Robert Craven & Leona M. (Carrothers) Howe Jr. He graduated from West High School, Denver, CO where he was active in ROTC. He later received a BS degree from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins,CO. On September 21, 1974 he married Pamela A. Ford. Woody worked with his father & brother at Moss Brothers Egg Products. Later and until his retirement he was an egg commodities grader for the United States Department of Agriculture. After retirement he worked part-time for Shepherd's Chevrolet at North Manchester picking up and delivering vehicles. He is survived by his wife, Pam Howe, North Manchester, IN; one son, Mark (Lisa) Howe, West Allis, WI; one daughter, Victoria (Hank) Ioerger, Longmont, CO; one granddaughter, Valleri Ioerger, Longmont, CO; one brother, John Howe, Thornton, CO and his mother-in-law, Bernice Ford, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. No calling is planned. Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
