Wilma G. Metzger

Metzger – Wilma G. was born on October 17, 1932, near Minot, ND to Lawrence and Alice (Moore) Wray. Our Heavenly Father called her home on September 16th at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 29 days.

On November 25, 1950 she married Carl R. Metzger, who preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. To this union were born 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters.

At an early age she was baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. She had an interest in caring for those in need. 

Surviving are daughters Arlene (Kenneth) Hopkins and Sharon (Jerry) Moser, 2 sons Kenneth (Deanna), and Jim (Terry), 13 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. 

The family cared for Wilma in her home as her health declined. 

Family and friends may call Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12546 North State Road 13, North Manchester, Indiana. Burial will follow at the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
