Virginia R. Airgood

Virginia R. Airgood, 92, North Manchester, IN died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. She was born October 18, 1922 in Huntington County, IN to Elmer & Dessie (Kline) Fleck. She graduated from Lagro High School in 1940. On February 7, 1942 she married George A. Airgood. He died October 21, 2010. She retired from Heckman Bindery in 1982 after 19 1/2 years service. She was a 53 year member of Chester Charmers Home Ec Club, North Manchester, IN and a member of Servia - New Hope United Church of Christ, Bippus, IN. She is survived by one son, Dick R. (Deanna) Airgood, Greenfork, IN; one daughter, Sally (Robert) Gamsby, Wabash, IN; one half brother, Charles (Sylvia) Fleck, Fort Wayne, IN; one half sister, Mary Lois Chamberlain, North Manchester, IN; seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. One son, John Airgood, and one grandson, Robert F. Gamsby II, are deceased. One brother and two step brothers are also deceased. Family and friends may call Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Peabody Chapel, 400 West Seventh Street, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Peabody Chapel, 400 West Seventh Street, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate.
