Toby J. Shepherd, 39, North Manchester, IN died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Wabash Skilled Care Center, Wabash, IN. He was born at Warsaw, Indiana on November 23, 1971 to Jay & Cathy (Miller) Shepherd Jr. They survive at North Manchester, IN. Also surviving are two sons, Bryce R. Shepherd and Trevor J. Shepherd, both of North Manchester, IN. A sister, Lori A. (Clifford) Seat, Ft. Wayne, IN. His maternal grandparents, Charles & Ruth Miller, North Manchester, IN. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jay & Mollie Shepherd. Toby was a 1990 graduate of Manchester High School and later graduated from I.P.F.W. at Ft. Wayne, IN with an A.S. degree in business management. Until his illness he was a supervisor at Maple Leaf Farms, Milford, IN. He was very active in his sons sports activities and for many years coached at the M.R.A. in North Manchester. He was a member of Sweetwater Assembly of God Church, North Manchester and an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame football and the Dallas Cowboys. Services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call at the mortuary on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 2 - 7 p.m. Rev. Chad McAtee and Rev. Kurt Stout will officiate and burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Toby J. Shepherd, memorial contibutions may be made to an educational fund for his sons Bryce & Trevor c/o Jay & Cathy Shepherd.
