Tina Marie Hapner, 57, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away March 26, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. The daughter of Glenn and Beverly J. (Coon) Dazey, Tina was born on February 16, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio.
As a child, Tina grew up in the Congregational Christian Church in North Manchester. In 1984, she graduated from Whitko High School in South Whitley. Tina was a compassionate, enduring woman and a proud mother. She often acted as a mom to her children’s friends and made room for them if they didn’t have a place to stay. She had an open door policy, which spoke to her loving and caring nature. In Tina’s eyes, her grandchildren could do no wrong. She often spoiled them with her stash of candy she got just for them. Tina’s grandchildren were the center of her world.
Tina relished in her time spent relaxing by crocheting, coloring, and watching NASCAR, especially before Jimmy Johnson retired. Her fun-loving personality and laugh will be missed by all who knew her.
The loving memory of Tina Marie Hapner will be forever cherished by her father, Glenn Dazey, Roann; sons, Keith Marcum, North Manchester and James Byrns, Fort Wayne; daughters, Jennifer (Christopher Thompson) Hapner, Fort Wayne and Chelsie Byrns, Peru; brother, Todd Allen Dazey, Wabash; sister, Trixy Lynn Dazey, Peru; uncle, Rick (Mitch Clodfelter) Eitniear, Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and the countless people she helped over the years. Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly J. Dazey; brother, Gary Brinson; and sister-in-law, Mariann Dazey.
