Ted M. Hill, 81, North Manchester, IN died Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born March 17, 1934 in North Manchester, IN to Forrest W. & Mildred M. (Baker) Hill. On August 4, 1956 he married M. Faith Cripe. She died April 1, 2013. Ted retired from Sears in 1991. He was plant management for Sunbeam Appliances, Brownville, TX, foreman at Essex, South Whitley, IN for 10 years. Owned and managed a package liquor store in Orland, IN for 3 years and worked for Pyramid Oil Co., North Manchester, IN for 20 years. Ted served in the US Army 1954-1956. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, IN, Commemorative Air Force, Midland TX American Legion, North Manchester,IN, Moose Lodge, North Manchester, IN, Elks Lodge, Rochester, IN, Deming Lodge #88 F & A.M., North Manchester, IN, Shrine Club, Fort Wayne, IN and Scottish Rite, Fort Wayne, IN. He is survived by his son, Rex (Lauri Jo) Hill, Kingsport, TN; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cinda Gambill in 2009 and his step mother, Lois (Long Achey) Hill.
