Tammy Camilla Sandra (Sizemore) Stanley

Tammy Camilla Sandra (Sizemore) Stanley of Wabash passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 26, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on March 22, 1965, in Logan, West Virginia, to Phyllis (Blankenship) Sizemore and the late Roddie Sizemore of Silver Lake, IN.

Tammy was a beloved sister to Robin Sizemore of Warsaw, IN; Drema (Barry) Drudge of North Manchester, IN; Roderick Sizemore of Silver Lake, IN; and Cherokee Sizemore of Silver Lake, IN. She was a devoted mother to Megan Cooper-Stanley of North Manchester, IN, and Jessica Stanley of Wabash, IN.

In addition to her daughters, Tammy leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren: Autumn Stanley, Gregory Cooper, Phoebe Cooper, Peyton Anderson, Anaya Jackson, Opal Cooper, and Ruby Cooper. Her joy in their presence was evident to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by each of them.

She also leaves behind a beloved uncle, Randall (Brenda) Sizemore, and nieces and nephews: Rosenea (Jay) Evans, Broderick Sizemore, Mia Drudge, Christina (Bronson) Albaugh, Zackery Drudge, and Adian Sizemore. Her great nieces and nephews are Destiny Evans, Riley Evans, Damien Albaugh, Darren Sizemore, Darien Sizemore, and Alexander Drudge.

Preceding her in death is her beloved husband, Gregory Paul Stanley. She is also remembered fondly by her late husband’s family, including his brothers John (Yolanda) Stanley, Joey (Penny) Stanley, Jimmy Dale (Lisa) Stanley, and his sisters Deb Stanley and Dreama Stanley. She shared cherished moments with her late husband’s parents, Mary and Johnny Stanley, and their family gatherings were always filled with love and warmth. She is now reunited with Greg in eternal peace.

Tammy was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Ruth Sizemore, and Kenneth and Mary Frances Blankenship. Aunts and uncles who preceded her in death include James (Naomi) Sizemore, Oneta “Bonnie” (John) Sizemore Watkins, Eugene Sizemore (survived by his wife, Alma Jean), Betty Wooten, Dorothy Jones, Sheila “Cookie” Blankenship, and Misty Dawn Blankenship.

In addition to her family, Tammy is fondly remembered by her dear friends Roger Frye, John Wick, Troy Allison, and Crystal Mitchell.

She was a devoted member of Christian Heritage Church in Wabash and enjoyed spending time at the pool as well as with her grandchildren and her dog, Baby Boy. The love she gave will live on in the hearts of her family and many friends as well as those she touched through her long career as a caring CNA at Peabody Retirement Community, Timbercrest Senior Living Community, and Warsaw Meadows. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Family and friends may call Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling. Burial will be held at Laketon Cemetery in Laketon, Indiana.

Tammy’s request was that everyone wear purple to her calling and service.

The family of Tammy Camilla Sandra (Sizemore) Stanley has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
