Suzanne Kathryn Eiler-Miller of Zionsville, Indiana passed away March 6, 2012 surrounded by her three daughters and son. She was born June 30, 1925 in North Manchester, Indiana. Daughter of Cecil L. and Mae E. Eiler, she completed her studies at Manchester College with highest honors. She was an accomplished gardener, calligrapher, artist, and literary editor. She was past president of the Indiana State Medical Auxiliary and Charter Member of Calligraphy Guild of Indiana. She supported the American Pianists Association, American Lung Association, and Eagle Creek Nature Preserve. She will remain a creative inspiration to her family and friends. Her husband, John D. Miller, M.D., preceded Suzanne in death. Her sister, Elaine Frieden, North Manchester, and her dear friend Helen S. Kogan, Zionsville, Indiana, survive her. Also surviving are her children James E. Miller (Serene) of Oxford, Ohio; Gail L. Suer (Robert) of Muncie, Indiana; Lora J. Jones-McClure, M.D. (Jim) of Muncie, Indiana; Gretchen J. Ratliff (Jim) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her many grandchildren. Private services will be held in North Manchester, Indiana officiated by her cousin, the Pastor J.P. Freeman.
