Steven "Steve" Donald Anderson

Steven "Steve" Donald Anderson, born on September 12, 1961, in Warren, Michigan, to Carl Edwin and Margaret Pearl (Little) Anderson, passed away on November 23, 2024 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Steve graduated from Cousino High School in Warren, Michigan in 1979 embarked on a fulfilling career in retail management. For several years, he dedicated his efforts to Wal-Mart, where he served as a department manager before retiring in 2012. On July 1, 2008, Steve married Beth Fields. Known for his sense of humor, Steve was a devoted homebody who treasured his time spent with family and friends. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as fishing — especially fly fishing — which allowed him to connect with nature. He had a passion for building train sets and collecting Matchbox cars, a hobby that sparked his creativity and imagination. Furthermore, Steve was an avid sports fan, passionately supporting all Detroit sports teams and often enjoying games from the comfort of his home, which led to a passion of collecting baseball cards.

The loving memory of Steven Anderson will be forever cherished by his daughters, Erica (Jarred) Dulworth, Karla Anderson Renz, and Lynnette (Ben) Penrod; wife, Beth Anderson; step-daughters, Kayla Wimmer, Paige Soliz, Felicia Wimmer, and Tatyana (Caleb Mendez) Wimmer; sister, Kristine (Jon) Hoppus; brothers, Gregg Anderson and Gary (Dee) Anderson; and six grandchildren.

A private service to honor the life of Steven Anderson will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Indiana.
