Scott Anthony Melton Jr., 30, Peru, IN died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 10:30 p.m. in his residence. He was born April 3, 1981 in Wabash, IN to Scott A. Melton Sr. & Diane (Shepherd). He graduated from ITT, Indianapolis, IN in 2007 as a Certified Technician. He was a Line Technician for Comcast for 5 years and received the Black Tie Award for Best Technician this past year. He was a loving father and loved his family, sports and his job. He is survived by one son, Brekken A. Melton, Wabash, IN; his mother & step father, Diane & Chester Hankey, Silver Lake, IN; maternal grandparents, Neal & Donna Burpee, Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Jeromy R. Melton, Wabash, IN; half brothers, Eric Iseton, Silver Lake, IN and Robert K. Melton, Michigan; half sister, Zoella Melton, Tennessee and many loving Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott A. Melton Sr. in 2009 and his paternal grandparents, Robert & Norma Melton. Friends and family may call Friday, August 19, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN.
