Sandra Sue Renz, 79, North Manchester, passed away on June 30, 2022 at Envive Healthcare of Huntington in Huntington, Indiana. The daughter of Jesse and Betty (Perry) Sickafus, Sandy was born on June 26, 1943 in Wabash, Indiana.
For many years, Sandy owned and operated the Halfway Café in Urbana. She also operated Sandy’s Coffee Shop in Laketon. Sandy married Richard L. Renz on July 13, 1985 and the two would be married twenty-six years before Richard’s passing on August 22, 2011. She loved her four children, Larry, Tom, Teresa, and Bill, who passed away in 1980. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo.
The memory of Sandra Sue Renz will be forever cherished by her sons, Larry (Priscilla) Case, Warsaw, and Tom (Peggy) Sickafus, North Manchester; daughter, Teresa (John) Reed, Laketon, and several grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Betty (Perry) Sickafus; husband, Richard L. Renz; son, Bill Sickafus, and one sister.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial is at St. Johns Cemetery, ½ mile west of Bippus, Indiana on county road 800 North.
