Ruth Johnson, 83, Silver Lake, IN died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in her residence. She was born February 2, 1928 in Prestonsburg, KY to Bennie & Pauline (Flannery) Helton. On November 11, 1946 she married Dennis B. Johnson. He died February 13, 2006. Ruth worked at Controls, North Manchester, IN for 19 1/2 years retiring in 1993. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Claude "Leroy") Miller, Silver Lake, IN; daughter-In-Law, Vanessa Johnson, North Manchester, IN; brothers, Troy Helton, Walkerton, IN & Roger Helton, Roann, IN; sisters, Sue Smith, Warsaw, IN, Dorothy (Loren) Bishop, Cicero, IN, Ethel Woodling, Warsaw, IN & Alice (Lynn) Reichert, Kirksey, KY; grandchildren, Lisa (James) Jackson, Warsaw, IN, Duane (Stacey) Boicourt, Martinsville, IN, Dennis Wayne Johnson, Silver Lake, IN, Lindsey Johnson, North Manchester, IN and Tabitha McCullough, North Manchester, IN; great grandchildren, Sheli Clemons, Milford, IN, Tia Clemons, Warsaw, IN, Skyler Boicourt, Martinsville, IN, Jayden McCullough, North Manchester, IN and Skye McCullough, North Manchester, IN. One son, Wayne Douglas Johnson, died February 7, 2007. Four brothers and one sister are deceased.
