Ruth L. Bishop

Ruth L. Bishop, 96, North Manchester, IN died at 1:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, IN. She was born November 18, 1916 in Miami County, IN to Charles & Mae (Murphy) Walker. On December 28, 1935 she married Kempies M. Bishop. He died August 3, 2003. Ruth was a homemaker and had worked at Controls Company of America, North Manchester, IN for 9 years and at Burch's Corner Cupboard, North Manchester, IN for several years. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and her yard. She is survived by two sons, LeRoy (Dorcas) Bishop, North Manchester, IN and Gerald "Gerry" Bishop, Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Robert (Ruby) Walker, Wabash, IN; one sister Helen Wright, Wabash, IN; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. One brother and four sisters are deceased. Family and friends may call Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Ed French will officiate.
