Russell J. Schroeder, 60, North Manchester, IN died at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 in his residence. He was born January 6, 1951 in Glandorf, OH to Benno & Clara (Duling) Schroeder. He graduated from Ottawa Glandorf High School, Ottawa, OH in 1969 and from Ohio State University in 1974 where he received a BS degree in Agriculture - Horticulture Specialty. he was a horticulture specialist for several companies. He was owner of The Inn, North Manchester, IN since 1999. He was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards. He is survived by one sister, Audrey (John) Canelli, Miamisburg, OH. One brother, Kenneth Schrodeder and one sister, Alvera Knueven, are deceased. Services will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN calling will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February, 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 109 Main Street, Glandorf, OH where family will receive friends from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Father Tony Fortman will officate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Glandorf, OH. For those who wish to honor the memory of Russell Schroeder, memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society, 601 W.
