Rowena Greer, 90, North Manchester, IN died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in her residence. She was born April 18, 1925 in Ijamsville, IN, to Raymond and Bertha (Anderson) Clark. Rowena married Donald E. Greer on September 19, 1942. Donald died December 22, 2002 She was a secretary at Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, IN for several years and also worked at Oppenheims Clothing store part time for many years. Rowena was an active volunteer manager of the Fellowship of Churches food pantry ind North Manchester for 15 years. When she wasn't giving to the community, she enjoyed fishing, needle work, gardening, and quilting. She is survived by her daughters: Janice L.(Daniel) Perry, Winona Lake, Indiana and Beverly J. (Gary) Miller, Ligonier, Indiana. She is survived by one son Wayne (Charlene) Greer, Fort Wayne, Indiana and 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Rowena is preceded in death by her 5 brothers, 5 sisters, and 1 daughter, Cheryl Ann Greer, who died in 1973. Family and friends may call Friday, November 6, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Services Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 East Second Street North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. Burial will be at Garden of Memory Huntington, Indiana.
