Rollin L. Smith, 96, Kokomo, IN formerly of North Manchester, IN died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 3:30 a.m. in his residence. He was born July 28, 1916 in Wabash County, IN to Carver & Etta (Thomas) Smith. He was a graduate of Chester High School, North Manchester, IN and a WWII Air Corp veteran. He retired as owner of Smith Plumbing & Heating Co., North Manchester, IN. On October 30, 1937 he married Betty Jane Teter. She died February 15, 1979. On November 2, 1980 he married Montra Whiteman. Rollin was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Wabash, IN, an avid fisherman and former race car driver. He is survived by his wife, Montra Smith, Kokomo, IN; one son, Terry (Tanya) Smith, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Linda Brothers; three step sons, Bill Mulvaney, West Bloomfield, MI, Steven Whiteman, Warsaw, IN and Greg (Becky) Whiteman, Silver Lake, IN; three step daughters, Mrs. James (Kathy) Hunter, Kokomo, IN, Mrs. David (Debby) Myers, North Manchester, IN and Mrs. Dan (Teresa) Nicholas, Russiaville, IN; one sister, Goldie Frohiep, Sturgis, MI; two grandchildren, eighteen step grandchildren and 17 step grandchildren. One son, one step son, two brothers, four sisters and one step grandchild are deceased. Service will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3741 W 100 S, Wabash, IN. Richard Miller will officiate.
