Roger L. Kinzie

Roger L. Kinzie, 53, North Manchester, IN died at 11:55 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Wabash County Hospital. He was born September 19, 1957 in Wabash, Indiana to John H. & Jane E. (Boocher) Kinzie. He was an over the road truck driver for several years in Indiana, Texas and California. He was also a truck driver for Gaunt & Son Asphalt, Inc., Wabash, Indiana for the past 16 years. From 1986-1990 he was co-owner of Beachler-Lucas Tire Co. Roger graduated from Manchester High School in 1975. He loved to canoe the Eel River with family and friends and was a member of N.R.A. and the American Motorcycle Association. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. Surviving are three daughters, Ashley N. Kinzie, Alyson R. Kinzie and Adriane L. Kinzie, all of North Manchester, Indiana. His mother, Jane E. Kinzie, North Manchester, a sister Ronda S. Pendleton, Dayton, IN and his companion, Rhonda R. Hopkins, North Manchester. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Robert A. Kinzie. Services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 2-5 & 6-8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will follow in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
