Roger E. Guthrie, 60, North Manchester, IN died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 in Peabody Healthcare Center. He was born January 26, 1953 in Wabash, IN to Donald E. & Cleo (Spath) Guthrie. Roger served in the US Marines 1970-1977. He was a self employed carpenter and heating & plumbing contractor. He is survived by his mother, Cleo Hippensteel, North Manchester, IN; one son, Andrew Beck, Talma, IN; two daughters, Abbie Isbell, North Manchester, IN and Lisa (Joe) Rioux, Sylvania, OH; one brother, David (Martha) Hippensteel, North Manchester, IN; one sister, Kathy (Terry) Mooney, Vincennes, IN; two step brothers, David (Susan) Hippensteel, North Manchester, IN and John (Ann) Hippensteel, Sturgeon Bay, WI; three step sisters, Diane (Mike) Bever, Forest, IN, Jane (Stuart) Sayler, Lakewood, OH and Joan (Mark) Laudeman, Lakeville, IN and several grandchildren. His father, Donald E. Guthrie, his stepfather, Joseph R. Hippensteel and two brothers are deceased. Graveside services will be November 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 N.
