Roger W. Gheen, 76, North Manchester, IN died at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Peabody Healthcare Center. He was born at Columbus, Ohio on March 30, 1936 to Harold R. & Bertha L. (Metzger) Gheen. He graduated from Grove City (Ohio) High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965. He was a manager and mechanic at several marinas and later was a river tour boad captain at Lake Havasu, AZ. Roger enjoyed woodworking, fishing and boat racing. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 286, North Manchester, IN and the National Rifle Association . Surviving are two sons, Mike Gheen and Marvin Gheen, and a daughter Peggy (Ralph) Bradley, all of North Manchester, IN. A brother, Thomas (Jill) Gheen, Dayton, OH. Three grandchildren, Michael Bradley, Matthew Bradley amd Brandt Gheen. One sister is deceased. No Services or calling are planned. Burial will be at a later date in West Jefferson, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN . For those who wish to honor the memory of Roger W.
