Roddie Lee Sizemore

Roddie Lee Sizemore, 68, Silver Lake, IN died at 2:22 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 in his residence. He was born February 10, 1946 in Logan County, WV to Thomas Jefferson & Ruth Cleo (Adams) Sizemore. He served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. On March 17, 1964 he married Phyllis Blankenship. Roddie was a business owner, deputy sheriff, factory worker, security guard, firefighter and worked at Pathfinders. He was an avid gardener, carpenter and chef. He was also a doting grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Sizemore, Silver Lake, IN; one son, Roderick Sizemore, Silver Lake, IN; four daughters, Tammy Sizemore Stanley, Silver Lake, IN; Robin (Bill) Sizemore Burchfield, Laketon, IN, Drema (Barry) Sizemore Drudge, North Manchester, IN and Cherokee Sizemore, Silver Lake, IN; two brothers, Eugene Sizemore, North Manchester, IN and Randall Sizemore, Logan, WV; thirteen grandchildren, Rosenea, Broderick, Christina, Jessica, Megan, Zack, Mia, Adian "Yetti", Damien, Veronica, Adrienne, Delani and John Boy and seven great grandchildren, Destiny, Riley, Damien, "Rad Knite" Sizemore, Autumn, Gregory and Phoebe. Two sons, one brother and one sister are deceased. Family and friends may call Monday, December 22, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Kelly Beutler and Pastor Erin Hurias will officiate.
