Rhonda Lynn Turley

Rhonda Lynn Turley of North Manchester, Indiana, passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 66. Born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on February 12, 1958, Rhonda was a proud graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1976. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge 1518 and the Eagles in North Manchester, where she forged many lasting friendships.

Rhonda was a vibrant soul who found joy in life's simple pleasures. Her love for gathering around bonfires, horseback riding, and embarking on spontaneous road trips brought smiles to all who knew her. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter, Mariah, whom she cherished dearly.

Throughout her life, Rhonda was known for her kindness and selflessness. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those around her. Rhonda was a hardworking individual who found fulfillment in taking care of others and had a soft spot for animals, always ready to care for any creature in need. Before retiring in 2023, Rhonda worked many years in different factories, before dedicating the last eight years of her career to Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw.

The loving memory of Rhonda Lynn Turley will be forever cherished by her daughter, Nicole (George “Frankie”) Ledbetter, Columbus, Indiana; son, Brandon Larson, North Manchester; brothers, David Turley, Indianapolis, Indiana and Stephen (Lisa) Turley, North Manchester; her beloved granddaughter Mariah Ledbetter; and her friend, Angie Carrothers, who was like a sister. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence F. and Dorothy Mae (Myers) Turley.

Rhonda will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her laughter, kindness, and warm spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. May her memory be a blessing to us all. Rhonda did not wish for funeral services, but instead wanted people remember her in their own way.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Wabash County Animal Shelter, 810 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.

The family of Rhonda Lynn Turley has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
