Ray Fenix

Ray Fenix, 84, Warsaw, IN died at 5:28 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Mason Health and Rehabilitation, Warsaw, IN. He was born October 15, 1930 in Floyd County, KY. He was raised by his grandparents Walker and Martha Horn. He was an Air Force Veteran. Ray retired from Creighton Brothers, Warsaw, IN. He enjoyed working number circle finds and was a great cook and enjoyed dogs and loved children. He also enjoyed camping and was a great storyteller. His companion of 33 years, Nancy Konkle, died October 12, 2008. He is survived by two nieces, Tina Fenix, Warsaw, IN and Barbara Brown, Macy, IN; three nephews, Charles "Ray" Fenix, Warsaw, IN, Gene Fenix, Atwood, IN and Danny Fenix, Michigan; and his special friend, Kenton Slone, Warsaw, IN. Two brothers and five sisters are deceased. There will be no calling or services. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
