Randy L. Rogers, 49, North Manchester, IN died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1961 in Wabash, Indiana to Robert & Roberta (Tyson) Rogers. On August 2, 1980 he married Sandra K. (Bashore) Young. She died April 18, 2010. Surviving are his companion, Lisa Rhoades, North Manchester, IN; a son, Ted (Brandy) Young, Lafayette, IN ; a daughter, Heather (Brian) Wake, North Manchester, IN. A brother, Paul (Francie) Rogers, Greenfield, IN ; four sisters, Theresa (Jay) Smith and Debbie Giddens, both of North Manchester, IN. Renee (Daniel) Harshman, Chili, IN ; Julie Ostrander, Mishawaka, IN. Five step brothers, Mike Price, Pat Price, Danny Price, Andy Price and Tom Price. Also surviving are three grandchildren. His parents and one brother are deceased. Randy worked at Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, IN for 17 years, was an avid drummer, enjoyed fishing, hunting and his garden. He had a passion for food. Services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call at the church on Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Randy L. Rogers, memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to McKee Mortuary to assist his family with final expenses.
