R. Wayne Clark

R. Wayne Clark, 80, North Manchester, IN died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Peabody Healthcare Center. He was born at Mexico, Miami County, Indiana on July 30, 1930 to Harry & Helen R. (Cook) Clark. On September 2, 1950 he married Bonnie J. Winebrenner. She passed away May 24, 2008. Wayne began his career in law enforcement as an officer with the North Manchester Police Departement. He served with the Wabash County Sheriff's Departemnt for one year and returned to the North Manchester Police Department from where he retired. He was a 1949 graduate of Chester High School and a United States Army veteran. Surviving is a daughter, Karen Clark, Columbus, OH. A daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kent (Teresa) Coble, North Manchester, IN. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Two sons are deceased, David Clark who died in 2008 and Allen Clark who died in 1982. He was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor Kurt Stout will officiate and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN.
