Phyllis Jean Hapner, 69, North Manchester, IN died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Wesley Healthcare Center, Auburn, IN. She was born October 24, 1940 in Wabash, IN to Mace Harper (Deceased) and Lillian Lucile McDaniel (Deceased) and was later adopted by Bennett Ihnen (Deceased). She graduated from Central High School, North Manchester, IN in 1958 and was a machine operator for Dana Corp., Andrews, IN. She is survived by four daughters, Janet Louise (Brian) Moore, Urbana, IN, Sandra Kay Hapner, Fort Wayne, IN, Linda Maria (James) King, North Manchester, IN and Kathryn Sue (Tim) Wallace, Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Thomas Lee Ihnen, Fort Wayne, IN; one sister Donna Mae (Neal) Burpee, Fort Wayne, IN and four grandchildren. One sister is deceased. Calling will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, IN. No services are planned.
