Philip Lee Bauer

Philip Lee Bauer, 65, North Manchester, IN died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 in his residence. He was born at Logansport, Indiana on December 7, 1946 to William J. & Betty J. (McCarty) Bauer. He was a 1965 graduate of Logansport High School and served his country in the United States Army. Phil retired after 20 years as manager with Crystal Flash Petroleum Co. He enjoyed photography and was an avid bowler having accomplished several 300 series games. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Forgeign Wars. Surviving is a sister, Kathryn (Thomas) Swearer, Jamestown, IN. Three nieces, Lisa Clifton, Jennifer Dustman and Heather Hurley. Three great nephews, Kyle Clifton, Tanner Hurley and Brandt Hurley. Also his special friends, Roger & Betty Brown and J.D. Purvis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service celebrating Phil's life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, Indiana . Arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.
