Otto L. Basore, 79, North Manchester, IN died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. He was born July 6, 1936 in Sacramento, CA to Harry & Evelyn (Bowman) Basore. He graduated from high school in Modesto, CA. On December 9, 1961 he married Barbara Blocher. He was self-employed in landscape maintenance for many years. He was an avid gardener and loved nature. Otto is survived by his wife, Barbara Basore, North Manchester, IN; three sons, Dwight Basore, North Manchester, IN, Chad (Heidi) Basore, Granger, WA and Wendel Basore, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Gretchen (Andrew) Good, Palmer, AK; one brother, Neal (Phyllis) Basore, Modesto, CA and eight grandchildren. One granddaughter, Kristen Basore, is deceased. Family & friends may call Friday, November 27, 2015 from 2:00-5:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13 North, North Manchester, IN. Home Brethren will officiate.
