Oscar Robinson, 85, North Manchester, Indiana passed away August 19, 2016 at 11:50 a.m. at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Oscar was born on May 7, 1931 to Lonnie P. and Fannie B. (Wallen) Robinson in Blue River, Kentucky. On April 29, 1951 Oscar married Eunice M. Marshall. Oscar was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. In 1992 he retired after 35 years with the Eric-Lackawana Railroad and also worked at Sunnyside Egg Farm in North Manchester, Indiana. Oscar is survived by his wife Eunice Robinson, North Manchester, Indiana; one son Oscar Lee (Theresa) Robinson, Huntington, Indiana; two daughters Mrs. John (Lois Lynn) Fairchild, Sandy Valley, Nevada and Mrs. Stanley (Karen K.) Baldridge, Claypool, Indiana; one brother Robert L. (Cheryl) Robinson, North Manchester, Indiana; nine sisters Mrs. Charles (Frankie) Vanderpool, Wabash, Indiana, Ethel Prater, Silver Lake, Indiana, Mrs. Kelly (Lillie) Jackson, Wabash Indiana, Mrs. Lynn (Janie) Wheeler, Warsaw, Indiana, Mrs. Max (Lucy) Gyer, Huntington, Indiana, Mrs. Craig (Eva Jean) Black, Valparaiso, Indiana, Mrs. Jack (Jessie) Sellers, Pierceton, Indiana, Evelyn (Bill) Elliott, Laketon, Indiana, and Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Stackhouse, Laketon, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Oscar was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie P. and Fannie B. Robinson, one son Jimmy D. Robinson and one sister. Family and friends may call Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with calling 1 hour prior to service time at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana.
