Olive A. Bever, 95, North Manchester, IN died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN.  She was born September 4, 1921 in North Manchester, IN to Albert & Edna (Leslie) Leedy.  On April 12, 1947 in Wabash Church of the Brethren she married Frank L. Bever.  She graduated from Sidney High School in 1939 and attended Manchester (College) University. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Olive was a factory worker at Bryan Manufacturing, North Manchester, a secretary at an insurance office, a book-keeper at General Electric (Ft. Wayne), Monsanto (Servia), and retired from Farm Bureau Co-op, Servia, IN. She was part of a singing group that had a regular show on the Warsaw radio station. Olive was an officer, leader, and hostess for the local Kenapocomoco Club (a Wabash County Home Demonstration Club for many years). She was active at the West Manchester Church of the Brethren on the church board, as a Sunday School teacher, she sang in the choir and was the chorister, as well as serving as a deaconess. Olive was a member of Eel River Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, IN. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Bever, North Manchester, IN; sons, Jerry (Karen) Bever, Warsaw, IN, Thomas (Ruth Ann) Bever, Fort Wayne, IN, Michael (Diane) Bever, Forest, IN, Dennis Bever, Claypool, IN and Steven (Michele) Bever, Hastings, NE; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.  One brother, John L. Leedy, and three sisters, Mary Naomi Leedy, Ruth E. (Leedy) Krichbaum and Hilda C. (Leedy) Eubank Huffman Putman, are deceased. Family and friends may call Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Roger Eberly and Pastor Doug Reichenbach will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.  For those who wish to honor the memory of Olive Bever, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.  To send a private condolence to the family, use the condolence link at www.mckeemortuary.com.
