April 27, 1941 — March 13, 2021

North Manchester

Mickey Joy Eubank, 79, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away March 13, 2021 at Autumn Ridge Centre in Wabash, Indiana. One of nine children, Mickey was born in Wabash, Indiana on April 27, 1941 to the late Gerald J. and Eleanor J. (Price) Eubank.

At an early age, Mickey learned the value of life. When he was four, he lost two brothers, William and Barry in August of 1945 in a drowning accident in North Manchester. The following year, he lost a sister, Karen Sue Eubank in June of 1946.

In 1959 Mickey joined the United States Army before graduating high school. After being Honorably Discharged from the military, Mickey went back to school and later graduated from Manchester High School in 1961. After graduation, Mickey started working a variety of factory jobs including those at Peabody Seating Company and Warner Corp, both in North Manchester, Indiana. Mickey loved supporting other veterans and members of the military. He was a member of the American Legion Post 286, North Manchester, Indiana.

On July 27, 1996 Mickey married Pauline (Shuck) Painter. The two were wed for nearly fifteen years before she passed away on April 3, 2011. For enjoyment, Mickey collected DVDs, coins, lighters, and various other items. He was a gentle soul to those he met and knew, and he would help anyone out if he had the means to do so.

The loving memory of Mickey Joy Eubank will be forever cherished by his son, Richard Eubank, Logansport, Indiana; brothers, Thurman (Susannah) Eubank, Dennis Eubank, and Jackie (Doris) Eubank, all of North Manchester; and sisters, Janice Fitzpatrick, Ocala, Florida and Laura Ann Enyart, Kokomo, Indiana. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald J. Eubank and Eleanor J. (Price) Eubank; wife, Pauline Eubank; brothers, William Eubank and Barry Eubank; and sister, Karen Sue Eubank.

A graveside service will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, Indiana. Pastor Sebrena Cline will officiate.
