Michael G. Sroufe, 55, North Manchester, IN died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in his residence. He was born September 14, 1956 in Wabash, IN to George R. & L. Louise (Snell) Sroufe. On December 19, 1975 he married Melonie L. Kreider. He was a welder at Peabody Seating Co., North Manchester, IN and Parker Industry, Silver Lake, IN and maintenance and groundskeeper at Manchester Recreation Association, North Manchester, IN. He was a sports enthusiast and his favorite teams were Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame and Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his wife, Melonie L. Sroufe, North Manchester, IN; his mother, L. Louise Sroufe, North Manchester, IN; one son, Bradley A. (Kelly M. Schinbeckler) Sroufe, Warsaw, IN; one daughter, Valerie A. (Ronald III) Hull, Austin, AR; one sister, Barbara (Bob) Jester, North Manchester, IN and five grandchildren. One grandson is deceased.
