Maurice C. Warner, 82, Pierceton, IN died at 2:34 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born March 29, 1931 to Walter & Agnes (Hardman) Warner in Monroe Township, Kosciusko County, IN. He graduated from Sidney High School, Sidney, IN in 1949 and served in the US Army from 1952-1953. He was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw, IN and a lifetime Sidney area resident & farmer. On June 9, 1957 he married Janyth D. Rooney. He enjoyed traveling with his family through 49 states and 8 foreign countries. He is survived by his wife, Janyth D. Warner, Pierceton, IN; two sons, Leon (Jennifer) Warner, Warsaw, IN & Lowell Warner, Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Judy Warner, Markelville, IN and Joyce (Rodger) Evans, Bluffton, IN; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one great grandchild and four step great grandchildren. One brother, L.V. Warner, and one sister, Devona Farley, are deceased. Family and friends may call Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Monday, June 10, 2013 from 10:00-10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Jack W. Worth will officiate.
