Mary E. Wintrode

Mary E. Wintrode, 90, North Manchester, Indiana died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at her residence. She was born at Marion, Indiana on July 14, 1923 to Joseph & Elizabeth (Peters) Walls. On February 13, 1943 she married Rollin Wintrode. He died November 5, 1990. Surviving are three sons, Rollin (Carol) Wintrode, Arkansas; David Wintrode and Robert Wintrode, both of North Manchester. Two daughters, Mrs. Todd (Jane) Walters, Silver Lake, IN and Mrs. Gene (Holly) McCoin, Indianapolis, IN. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two sisters, Katherin Brown, of Texas, and Mrs. Roy (Mildred) McVey, Marion, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Mary was a homemaker, member of the Missionary Church, North Manchester and a former member of the Country Women's Club. She was a great cook, had an artistic talent and enjoyed embroidering. Services will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Missionary Church, 806 State Road 114 East, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Thursday, December 5, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Pastor Dan Binkley will officiate and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Mary E.
