Mary R. Bowen

Mary R. Bowen, 86, Warsaw, IN formerly of North Manchester, IN died at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, IN. She was born January 1, 1929 in Shamokin, PA to Marvin and Esther (Poticher) Beck. She graduated from Shamokin High School, Shamokin, PA in 1946. Mary was a cook at Peabody Retirement Community 1990-1999. She was of Episcopalian faith and a former member of Ladies of the Moose, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by one son, Terry L. (Jeanne) Bowen, Leesburg, IN; two daughters, Vicki (Jerry) Martin, Leesburg, IN and Valerie (David) Patterson, Morris Town, AZ; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two brothers, Donald Beck and Marvin "Bud" Beck are deceased. Family and friends may call Saturday, January 24, 2015 from noon-2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Graveside service Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 N. Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Rob Seewald will officiate.
