Marilyn H. McDonald, 83, Silver Lake, IN passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN.  She was born July 31, 1934 in Central City, NE to Hubert & Perna (Widman) Hammons.  She graduated from Anderson High School in 1952.  She married her sweetheart, Jack N. McDonald on May 3, 1953 in Noblesville, IN.  She was a loving wife and mother to her 3 sons and their wives. She was a fun grandma to her 6 grandchildren and will be fondly remembered  for her one liners, laughter and her ability to whip up a meal in minutes.  Many will  remember Marilyn for her beautiful cakes especially her wedding cakes which she created for over 40 years.  She will be missed by her family and friends. Marilyn was a member of North Manchester Missionary Church, North Manchester, IN.  She is survived by her husband, Jack McDonald, Silver Lake, IN; sons, Brenton (Tabatha) McDonald, Silver Lake, IN & Trenton (Marilyn) McDonald, Silver Lake, IN; daughter-in-law, Cheryl McDonald, Warsaw, IN; grandchildren, Justin (Tabitha) McDonald, Warsaw, IN, Melissa McDonald, Winona Lake, IN, Ethan McDonald, Zionsville, IN, Logan McDonald, Akron, IN, Tyler McDonald, Silver Lake, IN and Jacob McDonald, Silver Lake, IN. One son, Kenton McDonald, is deceased. Family & Friends may call Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Ken Sistrunk and Pastor Dan Binkley will officiate.  Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.  For those who would like to honor the memory of Marilyn H. McDonald, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 50 E 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
