Madelyn R. Greene

Madelyn R. Greene, 87, Roann, Indiana died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at her home. She was born March 8, 1926 at South Whitley, Indiana to George & Ruth (Goff) Knoop. On August 3, 1946 she married Norman L. Greene. He died November 11, 2010. Madelyn attended South Whitley High School, was a homemaker and employed at Heckman Bindery at North Manchester for 15 years. She retired in 1988 after 10 years service with Indiana Lawrence Bank, North Manchester. Surviving are a son, Mikel (Patty) Greene, Barbee Lake, Pierceton, IN and five grandchildren. Two sisters are deceased. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 6 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
