Lyle L. Bonewitz

Lyle L. Bonewitz, 61, North Manchester, IN died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. He was born June 5, 1949 in Wabash County, IN to G. Duane & Tomaline (Martin) Bonewitz. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1967 and worked at North Manchester Foundry for 40 years. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, IN. Lyle enjoyed fishing, baseball, horseshoes, bowling and woodworking and was a NASCAR fan. He is survived by one son, Eric (Rebecca) Adams, Warsaw, IN; two daughters, Tammy (Denny) Williams, Warsaw, IN and Becky (Leno Lopez) Flores, North Manchester, IN; one brother, Elmer (Barb) Bonewitz, North Manchester, IN; five sisters, Monace Baker, Van Buren, IN, Tonie (John) Cave, North Manchester, IN, Luetta (Bill) King, North Manchester, IN, Drucilla (Ron) Varney, Huntington, IN and Jannette Strasser, Wells, MI; and four grandchildren. One grandson is deceased. Friends and family may call Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
