Lucy B. Ranck

Lucy B. Ranck, 83, Lafayette, IN formerly of Peru, IN died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Ste Elizabeth East, Lafayette, IN. She was born July 4, 1930 in Leander, Johnson County, KY to James W. & Bessie (Carpenter) Caudill. She graduated from Claypool (IN) High School in 1947. On April 27, 1957 she married Robert L. Ranck. He died February 7, 2008. Lucy had worked at the former Keifer's and Electronite, both in Peru, IN. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Start, Converse IN, Rebekah Lodge and Pythian Sisters both in Peru, IN and was a volunteer at Helping Hands, Peru, IN. She is survived by her sister, Mayme Chapman, Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Manis L. Caudill, brothers, John Willis Caudill and William "Jack" Caudill, and sisters, Edna Mae Witten, Veva Mae Bell, Josephine Caudill and Elsie Spradlin. Family and friends may call Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Eastern Star Services at 1:40 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Rev. R. Duane Cragun will officiate.
