Louella (Blocher) Wrightsman

Louella Wrightsman, 88, Wonewoc, Wisconsin formerly of North Manchester, Indiana, passed away July 14, 2020 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Louella was born August 12, 1931 in Wabash County, Indiana to Samuel and Mary Gertrude (Eiler) Blocher.

Louella married Ronald Wrightsman on April 24, 1952. They were married for 60 years before he passed away on July 11, 2014. She was a homemaker and worked as a unit clerk and surgery hostess at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw for many years. In her spare time, Louella enjoyed working in her flower gardens and crocheting.

The memory of Louella Wrightsman will be remembered by her son, Dean (Joann) Wrightsman, Wonewoc, Wisconsin; daughter, Lucinda (Michael) Curtin, Rocky Mountain, Virginia; four grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Martha (Carns) Blocher, one daughter, Cheryl L. Rhoades passed away on August 11, 1978, three brothers, John M., Jonas M., and Willis S. Blocher, and one sister, Zelma Fingerle.

Family and friends may call Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 12546 North State Road 13, North Manchester.

Arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary.

The State of Indiana recommends social distancing of six feet or more, hand washing or sanitizing, and the use of masks.
