Lora Maxine Harvey, 87, North Manchester, IN and formerly of Laketon, IN died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 10:15 p.m. in Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born April 24, 1924 in Wabash County, IN to Harry G. & Edna Florine (Macon) Betten. On December 11, 1947 she married Earl W. Harvey. He died August 19, 1996. She retired in 1992 from Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN after 42 years. She was a member of Liberty Mills United Methodist Church, Liberty Mills, IN. She is survived by six daughters, Carolyn M. Hoffman, North Manchester, IN, Luella Jean (Larry) Hall, Roann, IN, Linda L. (Thomas) Hippensteel, North Manchester, IN, Donna Kay Lampert, North Manchester, IN, Debra Ann (Royston) Ho, Queens, New York and Dianna L. (Brian) Baker, North Manchester, IN; one brother, Harry D. (Norma) Betten, Bippus, IN; one half sister, Phyllis France, Wabash, IN; sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Two brothers and one half sister are deceased. Friends and family may call Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN.
