Lonzo Howard, 74, Pierceton, IN died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in his residence. He was born September 10, 1937 in Salyersville, KY to Bass & Dollie (Allen) Howard. On June 27, 1959 he married Alice J. Herendeen. Lonzo was a farmer and carpenter and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of Free United Baptist Church, Sidney, IN. He is survived by his wife, Alice J. Howard, Pierceton, IN; one son, Michael W. Howard, South Whitley, IN; one grandson, Ryan M. Howard, Milford, IN; two brothers, Rosco Howard, Pierceton, IN and Monroe Howard, Printer, KY and two great grandchildren. Two brothers, Sammy Howard and Cisco Howard, and two sisters, Arizona Mullins and Betty Allen, are deceased. Family and friends may call Friday, May 25, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Free United Baptist Church, 7035 S. State Road 13, Sidney, IN. Services Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Free United Baptist Church, 7035 S. State Road 13, Sidney, IN . Pastor Etsie Allen and Pastor Willie Collins will officiate. Burial will follow services in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN.
