Lola Margarite Kelly, 65, Leesburg, formerly known as Lola France, was born on September 6, 1959, in Wabash. The daughter of Ralph James France and Francis Arlene (Springer) Brown, Lola departed this life on March 6, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. Lola lived a vibrant and fulfilling life characterized by her unique sense of style, infectious spirit, and deep-rooted pride in her Native American heritage.
Throughout her life, Lola was known for her exquisite taste, which radiated through her fashion choices, the jewelry she adorned, and her meticulous make-up. She embraced life with a zest that was inspiring to all who knew her. A true adventurer at heart, Lola traveled to various places across the United States, embracing each new experience with open arms and an unwavering enthusiasm.
A passionate motorcyclist, she cherished the thrill of the open road and the freedom it offered. Her love for riding was matched only by her adoration for children, whose laughter brought her joy and whose spirits mirrored her own vivacity. As a proud member of The Miami Nation of Indians of the state of Indiana, Lola held her cultural heritage close to her heart and shared its significance with those around her.
The loving memory of Lola Kelly will be forever cherished by her mother, Francis Brown, North Manchester; siblings, Jimmy (Virginia) Conliff, Richard (Marvin) France, Michael “Mickey” (Cindy) Conliff, Randy (Carolyn) France, Rocky (Charlotte) France, Robin Corn, Russell (Kim) France, and Charles Burk III; ex-husband, Jerry Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. Lola was preceded in death by her father, Ralph France; step-mother, Priscilla Jean (Davis) France; siblings, Roger Conliff, Jimmy Dale France, Max Conliff, Dennis Conliff, Randy Conliff, and Rodney France Sr.
At the request of the deceased, no service will be held.
