Lois E. James, 69, North Manchester, IN went home to be with Jesus Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, IN. She was born May 19, 1944 in Wabash County, IN to Laymond Lee & Gladys (Perry) Clark. She was a 1962 graduate of Laketon High School, Laketon, IN. On September 17, 1963 she married William A. James. He died December 11, 1997. Lois was a homemaker and servant for the Lord. She was a member of Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren, Liberty Mills, IN. She is survived by one son, Frederick A. (Tina) James, Pierceton, IN; four daughters, Mrs. Terry (Deborah) Barrett, Liberty Mills, IN, Diana Wood, North Manchester, IN, Mrs. James (Lori) Conley, Liberty Mills, IN and Mrs. Robert (Lisa) Haupert, North Manchester, IN; five sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Nanci Lou) Moyers, Burlington, IA, Catherine Bettencourt, Wabash, IN, Miriam Linkenhoker, Ijamsville, IN, Mary Ann Coe, Wabash, IN and Laura Bradley, Ijamsville, IN; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. One sister, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and one step son are deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, January 16, 2014 2:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Friday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Kelly Beutler and Pastor Erin Huiras will officiate. Burial will be in Laketon Cemetery, Laketon, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Lois James, memorial contributions may be made to Sarah K.
