Lewis I. Jacobs

Lewis I. Jacobs, 95, Silver Lake, IN died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 5:45 a.m. at Heritage of Huntington Healthcare, Huntington, IN. He was born December 20, 1915 in Wabash County, IN to Sampson & Alma (Bennett) Jacobs. On February 2, 1940 he married Martha M. Oldfather. She died December 12, 2008. He was a resident of Huntington County for many years before moving to Wabash County in 1967. Lewis was a retired farmer. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Kathleen) Jacobs, Huntington, IN & Sam Jacobs, Laketon, IN; one daughter, Linda (Walter) Fulton, Andrews, IN; six grandchildren & six great grandchildren. Five brothers and four sisters are deceased. Friends and family may call Friday, January 14, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN and one hour prior to services on Saturday . Services will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Nikki Marker will officiate. Burial will be in South Pleasant Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.
