Lelia F. Martin, 96, North Manchester, IN died at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center. She was born at Peru, IN on April 23, 1917 to William & Eura (Etter) Ireland. In 1935 she graduated from Peru High School and married Raymond Mitchell. He died April 1, 1949. In 1950 she married Harlan G. Flack. He died April 14, 1972. In 1974 she married Hershal N. Martin and he died February 9, 1999. Surviving is a son, William (Nancey) Mitchell, Warsaw, IN and a daughter, Sheila (Robert) Snell, Indianapolis, IN. Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Three step-sons, Joseph (Shirley) Martin, Marion, IN; Rex (Jeanie) Martin, Ft. Myers, FL and Charles (Caroline) Martin, Sweetser, IN. One sister, Bonita Harris, Peru, IN. She was preceded in death byher parents, two brothers and six sisters. Lee was a member of the Peru United Methodist Church and was a sales clerk at Oppenheim's Department Store, North Manchester for 42 years, retiring in 1999. Services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 26 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.
