Leeanna Hoover

LeeAnna Hoover, 88, North Manchester, IN died at 10:25 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center. She was born at North Manchester, Indiana on February 26, 1925 to Arlo & Eunice (Cripe) Ribley. She graduated from Laketon High School in 1942 and on February 21, 1947 she married Ray E. Hoover. He died March 27, 2004. LeeAnna worked at the former Warner Brooder Corp. in North Manchester and Heckman Bindery. Later she was employed with Indiana Lawrence Bank at North Manchester and served as loan officer for 3 years. She was a broker with Ringenburg Real Estate, North Manchester for 10 years, and in 1992 she returned to Indiana Lawrence Bank until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the Eel River Community Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, IN and was a long time member of the former West Manchester Church of the Brethren where she attended most of her life. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George (Kathleen) Reents, Monticello, IN; Mrs. Don (Vicki) Miller, Claypool, IN; Mrs. Bob (Sherri) Wilson, Yoder,IN and Debbi Gerardot, New Haven, IN. Eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. A brother, Jim (Ruth) Ribley, North Manchester, IN; two brother-in-laws, Russell (Joann) Hoover & Homer (Julia) Hoover, both of North Manchester. Three sister-in-laws, Grace Metzger & Mrs. Roger (Verna) Shively, both of North Manchester, IN and Bonnie Ribley, Zionsville, IN. She was preceded in death by a brother, Max Ribley and a sister-in-law, Ruby Muir. Services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN with calling one hour prior to services. Friends and family may call on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 1:00 - 3:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Carroll McNutt will officiate and burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
