Etna Green

Leann Laughlin was born in Wabash on January 23, 1967, to Terry Hoffman and Martha “Marty” (Hammonds) Quance and passed away on March 4, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. Leann was incredibly loving and left a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate to know her.

Leann graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1985 and soon entered the workforce where she was a dedicated team member. She took great pride in helping to support her family through her employment at R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw. She also cleaned homes and was a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her career was marked by both her dedication and her unwavering kindness and generosity, traits that defined her spirit.

Those who knew Leann often remarked on her warmth and delight in caring for others. She had a gift for connecting with others, which was evident in her persistent acts of kindness, such as buying food for those in need. Strong in her faith, Leann held a deep love for her Lord and devoted her life to serving others with genuine compassion. In her earlier days, Leann enjoyed attending Home Church in Warsaw. She enjoyed singing and dancing, both of which brought her great joy until her declining health prevented Leann from enjoying them.

Leann was a proud mother and grandmother. She found immense joy in her grandbabies, who were a tremendous source of fulfillment in her life. She cherished every moment spent with them. Leann’s loving nature extended to her daughters who inherited their mother’s nurturing spirit.

For over twenty years, Leann shared her life with her husband, Tom Geberin. Together they created an enduring bond and created a lifetime of memories.

The loving memory of Leann Laughlin will be forever cherished by her daughters, Rachel Laughlin, Argos and Taylor Laughlin, North Manchester; father, Terry Hoffman, Macy; mother, Marty Quance, Warsaw; brother, Preston (Anne) Hoffman, Columbia City; sisters, Dawn (Chris) Patrick, North Manchester, Hope (Tony) Chance, Sarasota, Florida, and Tonya (Bryan) Richie, Perrysburg; and eight grandchildren.

Family and friends may call Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Home Church, 744 South 325 East, Warsaw. A celebration of Leann’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. John Lowe II officiating.

The family of Leann Laughlin has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
