Klink Shepherd, 53, North Manchester, IN died at 4:03 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born at Wabash, Indiana on November 21, 1957 to Dewey & Jeannette (Whitaker) Shepherd Sr. He had worked in the paint departemnt at Par-Kan, Silver Lake, IN. Surviving is a daughter, Valerie Shepherd, North Manchester, IN. Five brothers; Dewey (Rosemary) Shepherd Jr., Joseph Shepherd, Herbert Shepherd, all of North Manchester, IN; Jake (Virgie) Shepherd, Servia, IN; Steve (Emily) Howard, Wagrom, NC. Six sisters, Debbie (Floyd) Swindle, Baldwin, MS; Katie Shepherd, Claypool, IN; Sadie Shepherd, Silver Lake, IN; Evelene (Bobby) Harding, Peggy (Raymond) Myers, both of Lake Wales, FL and Brenda Layne, Mineral Bluff, GA. Three grandchildren, Destiny Shepherd, Rocky Shepherd and Dominic Cripe. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister and a son, Rocky Lee Shepherd who died in 2005. Services will be held Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate and burial will follow in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, Indiana.
