Kathryn Nadean Bontrager Becker, 96, North Manchester, IN and formerly of Ligonier, Warsaw & Silver Lake, IN died at 6:23 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born November 8, 1917 in Nappanee, IN to Edward Franklin & Viola Lucena (Mitchell) Gall. She graduated from Nappanee High School. Her senior photo caption was "A woman's crowning glory is her hair". On September 28, 1935 she married G. Joseph Bontrager. He died December 30, 1995. She then married Paul Russell Becker on May 16, 1999. He died November 1, 2006. Kathryn worked at Lake City Bank, Warsaw, IN for 15 years. She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, IN and a former member of West Eel River Church of the Brethren, Silver Lake, IN. She is survived by one son, Mark E. (Ruth) Bontrager, Fort Wayne, IN; three daughters, Brenda Jo Falconer, Rockford, IL, Deborah (James) Lotz, Warsaw, IN and Victoria Kay Bontrager, Corpus Christi, TX; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One grandchild, two brothers and one sister are deceased. Visitation will start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Karen Eberly will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, IN. Arrangements entrusted to McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.
