Karen S. French

Karen S. French, 62, Claypool, IN died at 5:58 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. She was born at Wabash, Indiana on May 31, 1947 to Earl D. & June A. (Smith) Floor. On April 22, 1966 she married Bennie R. French. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Mariah (Mark) Chupp, Elkhart, IN. Four grandchildren, Jessica D. Chupp, Collin M. Chupp, Jadon D. Chupp and Jocelyn L. Chupp, all of Elkhart, IN. Two brothers, Larry L. (Ann) Floor, Akron, IN and Michael (Claudette) Floor, Dryden, NY. Three sisters, Deloris (Max) Thompson, Claypool, IN; Joan (Jim) Bucher, Akron, IN; Sharon Floor, Akron, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jody French. Karen graduated from Akron High School in 1965 and attended Faith Assembly at Winona Lake, IN. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking , and helping other people in any way she could. She also loved praising the Lord in song. Services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from South Pleasant United Methodist Church, State Road 15 and C.R. 1400 N (3 miles south of Silver Lake, IN). Friends and family may call on Wednesday, March 31, from 4 - 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Joseph Brenneman, pastor, will officiate and burial will follow at Silver Creek Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN . For those who wish to honor the memory of Karen S.
